"A wonderful experience" I was apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the reviews on this website. When we travel, we stay at Days Inn, Travelodge, Ramada, etc... We found this hotel to be superior to any we have stayed at. Yes, it is a bit older, but the aging is easy to get past. The bathtub had some minor aging/wear as did some of the furnishings. The staff was absolutely GREAT. They went out of their way to help. The restaurant is great if you use it wisely. When booking, be sure to ask about the $100 food credit and the 50% dinner-discount. The food is overpriced, but with the 50% discount it is a great value. I recommend the burrito (excellent!) and steak sandwich. For breakfast, instead of all of us eating in the restaurant and paying for each, I asked for a to-go box and they let me fill it up for one full-priced ($12) fare. We all ate and were satisfied. I cannot overstate how satisfied we were with this hotel - especially considering what we are used to. I do not recommend the shuttle to the park. It is inconvenient to wait and you often could walk there faster. It is a short 12 - 15 minute walk. If you are at least slightly in shape, you should be fine. The pool was more than adequate for our family. Yes, it was very plain. But I found it plenty clean and never over crowded. It was also quite warm. Unless you are a Hilton, I would not hesitate to book this hotel.
