"Great location hotel"
After reading the reviews from others, I was slightly concerned about what we were going to find when we got to the hotel. It seems that we were fortunate enough. Our room was small but comfortable enough. I was pleased to see things like the hairdryer and iron included in the room. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. My husband was a bit disappointed that there were no tea/coffee making facilities. (I think this is so that you use the Starbucks in the lobby). Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant apart from the sarcastic Craig the Concierge. I think we upset him when we asked him a simple question, must have disturbed his afternoon rest. The location was perfect as it was very close to Times Square and Broadway, also the subway was only 2 blocks away. There are a good number of eating places around the hotel. Good Irish pub & restaurant on 47th and Lexington called Connollys. Overall, we were pleased with this hotel considering the cheap price that we paid. If you are looking for a luxury hotel then you are going to have to pay bigger prices. This hotel is perfect if you are just using it as a base to explore the city and are not going to be spending most of your time in your room.
