"Superior Hotel, Fantastic Location"
The location of this hotel on the Salz River and just in the heart of the old city would be enough to entice one to stay there; the service and amenities are also excellent. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet. From the hotel, we walked throughout the old town including the lift to the Castle HohenSalzburg and also across the river to Mirabelle Gardens and the Mozart site there. We saw everything without any other transportation. Just a half-block away is an excellent restaurant, the K & K. Though a little pricey, the hotel's location and quality make it a real value.

"Great Hotel"
If you visit Salzburg you must stay in this hotel. The location is great and our rooms were massive. When we got to my friends room first (209) we could not believe the size of the room. It was so clean and very nicely decorated. I was put into a suite without knowing (214) and it was even bigger. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. Salzburg in an amazing place and this hotel topped of a great 4 days.

"Comfiest room ever!"
Fantastic room (401) overlooking River. Enormous, but oh so comfy and warm with our own hallway to hang coats boots and scarfs etc, then big desk area plus 3 piece suite and coffee table. The quilts and beds were amazing. Can have breakfast delivered to room for only 3euros50. Fantastic bathroom - needed to run water for a while to get through system but piping hot when it came. All hotel staff were terrific - latte machiato just divine, gave us a free access code to the wireless lan. Location is brilliant. Couldn't fault it!
