Radisson Sas Krakow Hotel has a reputation for building fine new hotels dating back to the first Sas hotel built to express the jet age in 1958 in Copenhagen. The colouring and clever design details throughout have created a style within the building that is comfortable for the guest while the designer has succeeded in making a clear functional modernist statement, a statement that does not force itself into your notice but accommodates, welcomes and cossets.
Throughout the interior treatment hints at the artistic and cultural inheritance of the city, with the carpet weave based on the music of Polish composer Chopin, and the artwork chosen from local artists and printmakers.
Both the Milk Bar and the lobby seating area are lined with panels of rock salt. Servicing these areas from the kitchen is made easy by an access route which forms a spine through rear of the restaurant, milk bar and to the bar. |

"Top marks"
Just returned from 4 day break. Hotel was very good, nice sized room, very clean, excellent service from reception, room service & bar staff.
Breakfasts are special.
Very close to old town,castle & river.
Restaurants are excellent in old town.
You must try the "Zubrowka" Bison brand vodka.
Only problem with Krakow was the enormous amount of young students milling noisily around all the time.

"Great Location"
New hotel in a perfect location for sight-seeing in Krakow. Easy walking distance to the Old Town (5 mins), Castle (10 mins)and Jewish Quarter (15 mins). Scandinavian style with all staff speaking English.
Excellent buffet breakfast.
Pre book a hotel car by e-mail,to pick you up from the aiport. Costs about 60 plz and saves serious wait for local taxis.

"Krazy about Krakow"
On checking in we were upgraded to a business room without requesting it. The rooms were extremely comfortable. The staff were so helpful and friendly but efficient too. The position is one of the best features, it is minutes away from the main square but quiet because it overlooks a small park from the front and Wawel Hill from our room at the side. We are of a `certain age` so qualified for the very good Senior Rate. Can recommend the restaurant Wentzle, situated in a beautiful old house off the square. One of the best in the city yet unbelievably cheap by English standards.
