Radisson Sas Palais Hotel Vienna is situated on the Ringstrasse, in the centre of Vienna. In the 19th century the city walls were replaced by the grand Ringstrasse. About the same time in 1872 the two detached family residences, the Palais Leitenberger and the Palais Henckel von Donnersmarck were built. Later, under strict government guidelines, the two palaces were carefully restored to form the splendid 5-star hotel that exists today.
The bedrooms at the Palais Leitenberger are decorated in Biedermeier style whilst the bedrooms at the Palais Henckel von Donnersmarck represent the design of “Fin-de-Siècle”.
The historical Palais Henckel von Donnersmarck and the Palais Leitenberger have been unified in the nowadays Radisson SAS Palais Hotel Vienna on the Parkring. Radisson Sas Palais Hotel Vienna staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant on the reception desk. It was a short walk to the centre of town and close to the metro so we were able to get to Schonbrunn Palace quickly and easily.

Radisson Sas Palais Hotel Vienna is very elegant. The rooms were nice and comfortable enough. I was really impressed with the fitness center, I find most European fitness centers to be subpar, but this was much better than any other I have experienced. The location is convenient, a short walk to almost all of the main tourist stops.

Radisson Sas Palais Hotel Vienna has a very central location walking distance to many attractions. Junior suite was large with separate sleeping area. Consierge recommenned a wonderful Austrian restauarant: The Puerstner - walking distance from hotel with great menu and austrian woods decor. Hotel lounge was small and unimpressive; as was restaurant.
