"A very different experience" I find it hard to believe that my experience of staying at this hotel (for one night only) was so completely different from those of previous reviewers. Yet it is the same place! I stayed in one of their suites, which was very spacious and comfortable and the decor was in very good condition. Even though the room was at the front, I was not disturbed by traffic noise. The bed was very comfortable indeed and there was plenty of hot water. On the negative side, I found the buffet breakfast rather disappointing and unappetising, though I have had worse. Also, I found the attitude of the person who appeared to be head barman very offensive. Some colleagues and I were enjoying happy hour drinks, when he suddenly appeared and demanded immediate payment, even though we hadnīt finished our drinks. Perhaps he thought we were about to īdo a runnerī! His officiousness and unpleasantness were totally unnecessary and very irritating - though they didnīt adversely affect my opinion of the hotel itself, which I would definitely stay at again and recommend to others. I would describe the location as very convenient - only five minutes by taxi from Casa Port station.
