perfect stay
It was first trip to Vancouver and I wanted to stay at a central location easily accessible and near the public transport because I easily get lost everywhere I go :)) I found Ramada and booked 3 days last month. I am very pleased my decision. Ramada is perfect! I found much more than I expected. comfortable rooms with puffy pillows made me feel good like home. Hotel is clean and staff is cosy. As a plus, the hotel is close to many nightclubs! I was a nightlife lover so very entertained at nights! I surely recommend it to anyone :) |

"Great location!"
I stayed at the Ramada Inn Downtown Vancouver in March and I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was conveniently located to restaurtants, nightlife, shopping and the hotel staff was one of the most friendliest that I ever encountered. Ginger the attached cocktail lounge was very chic and trendy. I can't wait to go back. Vancouver was amazing!

"Top Notch"
I stayed in Vancouver for 5 nights and found the Ramada on Granville to be top notch in customer service, quality and value. The first night we had a smaller room. It would be fine for 2 people but, a little small for 3 for an extended stay. Lucky for us, the hotel had a larger room available and upgraded us with no extra charge. WOW !! When the parking was full, they had a valet service at the same $12 parking fee. Everyone on the desk and cleaning the rooms we came across couldn't have been more accomodating. The rooms were clean and the hotel is in good repair. We really liked the area, it was within walking distance to Robson St. and other downtown locations. You could walk the other direction to Graville Island very easily. Vancouver is a fun town and I recommend this hotel when you stay.
p.s. - I have high "princess like" standards who operates on a budget, this met all standards. :-)

"Great location"
Stayed here for 5 nights at the end of our World Travels. We were reallly pleased with the room (fair size, but perhaps small by North America standards) and the location - it was within 5 minutes walk from Gastown and 10 minutes walk to Robson street in one direction and Chinatown in the other. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was OK. There are many places nearby for good value internet and eating. Be careful though, at night you feel unsafe only a couple of blocks from the hotel near the main street of Gastown and avoid China Town at night.

"Great value for the money!"
I normally have stayed at the Marriott or Hyatt when in Vancouver, but was looking for a better price point this trip. Although the Ramada isn't luxurious by any means, it's newly renovated and in easy walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, and Downtown Vancouver, and right on the line of the Airporter shuttle. It was nice to be staying in an active area, as opposed to an area like Hastings St. (where the Renaissance and Marriott are) which is deserted after business hours.
My room was generously sized, especially the bathroom, and faced an interior courtyard. While the view was a bit plain, it was great in terms of having no street noise at all, and the wireless internet worked perfectly. I also found the staff to be really friendly when it came to helping with luggage and directions.
This hotel comes highly recommended if you are looking for functional, high-value accommodation in a central area.
