LOCATION

Ramada & Suites Hotel is within a mile of RAI Congress Center and the major museums (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Stedelijk Museum). This hotel on a main tram line is also just a block from lovely Vondelpark where you can stroll for hours, jog, play tennis or simply drink tea or visit the Film Museum.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Filled with bright contemporary art and offering street views, the large Gallery serves a buffet breakfast daily. The Hof Bar, serving light meals and a wide array of drinks, offers a fireplace, international newspapers, a TV, sofas, and a summer terrace overlooking lovely Vondelpark.

* When warm weather arrives, residents flock to Vondelpark for picnics, skating, cycling, and concerts. Guests can get a picnic basket nearby or dine in the informal tearoom in the center of the park, Het Blauwe Thee Huis.

* The Hof Bar has a fireplace, summer terrace overlooking the park, and international magazines and newspapers. Breakfast is served in the large Gallery dining room, decorated with contemporary artworks and rich colors. Just off the lobby is a small gift boutique and self-service snack room with coffee, soft drinks, snacks, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. A computer station with dial-up Internet access (surcharge) is available in the lobby.

ROOM AMENITIES

* This hotel has 130 rooms divided into two four-story buildings, the main Hofpark Hotel and the Hofpark Residence located next door and accessible via door code. Rooms feature contemporary decor; some have views of the park.

* Each room includes cable TV, direct-dial phone with dial-up Internet access (surcharge), and coffee/tea maker. Small refrigerators are available on request, depending on availability. Rooms in the Hofpark Residence are more spacious, air-conditioned, and include a minibar. Conference rooms are located in the Hofpark Residence.
