An apartment building rather than a hotel! A very spacious lounge/dining room with bedroom, bathroom and a full size kitchen, all for two people! Very well presented and equipped. Spotlessly clean, linen changed each day. The small bistro style café downstairs served a full range of buffet breakfast. Meals and snacks were available at lunchtime and in the evening. The standard of cooking was extremely high, lovely fish. The staff could not have been more helpful. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Lisbon. Just a short walk to the metro or bus that takes you to the old centre. Shops and other restaurants were nearby.

"Excellent Hotel"
I Would definitely recommend this hotel. I has everything that you require. We stayed at the Real Residencia for 4 days. It is a handy 8 euro ride from the airport and although it is in the Northern tip of the main area of Lisbon it is only a 3 min walk to the nearest metro and a few stops to the centre of town. I also found the room to be well above what I expected and it also has he advantage of being a 5 min walk from a very well stocked supermarket/shopping centre. I must also add that the staff where very helpful.

"A must-stay hotel"
This hotel was absoultely fabulous for the price. The rooms were immaculate, the front desk staff was very helpful (our TV stopped working one night, and they replaced it), the complimentary breakfast was quite generous (juices, coffee, cereal, yogurt, bread, eggs, bacon, lunch meats), and its location is just fine. It's very close to the art museums (walking distance) and about a block to the subway. If you've been on the New York subway (or heck, even one the size of Boston's) you'll see how close everything is in Lisbon. My point is that the hotel is not central to the shopping district (Baixa Chiado), say, but it's less than 15 minutes away. What more can I say...we had a marvelous time in Lisbon and couldn't have asked for better treatment or a better deal than the Real Residencia Suite Hotel.
