LOCATION

Red Lion Hotel At The Park is situated just over a footbridge from downtown Spokane’s biggest attractions. The hotel is within walking distance of Gonzaga University and 10 miles from Spokane International Airport.

The Opera House and Convention Center, all the best shopping and restaurants and the business district are all just steps away. The hotel is also nearby River Park Square.

* Windows of the Seasons:
Updated in August 2006 with new carpeting, furnishings, and decor. This lobby-level restaurant offers views of the Spokane River and downtown. Menu includes Northwest cuisine, salads, salmon, lamb, prime rib, and vegetarian dishes. Open for dinner only.

* Atrium Café:
Casual atrium restaurant amid lush foliage. American cuisine. Breakfast and lunch daily; some holiday brunches.

* Park Place Lounge:
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the river and Riverfront Park. Appetizers, lunch, and dinner. Large-screen TV and seasonal outdoor patio.

* The hotel has a heated pool in a solarium with a spa tub and sauna. A fitness room with five cardio machines has windows overlooking the outdoor swimming lagoon (open seasonally) with children’s swim area, water slide, and waterfall.

* Riverfront Park, across from the hotel, offers scenic jogging and biking paths, a seasonal outdoor ice-skating rink, an IMAX theater, a 1909 carousel, and other attractions.

* This Red Lion Inn has 400 guestrooms in three interconnected wings of five, seven, and 12 floors. Renovated in April 2006, rooms feature beds with triple sheeting and pillowtop mattresses. Rooms have armchairs with ottomans and desks with ergonomic chairs. Amenities include dial-up and wireless Internet access (complimentary); refrigerators; coffeemakers; and cable TV with premium channels, pay movies, and Nintendo video games.

* Bathrooms have granite countertops and new light fixtures. Showers feature curved shower rods for extra room; showerheads offer massage, standard, or rainfall shower spray options. Bath & Body Works toiletries are included.

"Good value and location but be sure to bring written proof of your rate"
Stayed at the Red Lion at the Park for a week in July. Room was average, but liked the location of the hotel by the Riverfront. It has a nice outdoor swimming pool and a patio area by the pool where you can sit and dine. My son and his wife were staying there also, and they had a very nice room (almost like a suite) in the Executive Wing. We ate breakfast in the restaurant a couple of times and the staff there was very pleasant and helpful. The valets were wonderful and so helpful. Only negative would be the front desk. Some of the personnel there were not very customer friendly. I had booked another room there for my other son and got the rate at the hotel website. The young lady at the desk refused to give us the rate. However I had a copy of the booking that I had printed from the website which I had to go to my room and get and that took care of the argument. I thought they could have been nicer about it. I had talked to the central booking office a few times and they were very helpul and pleasant. I would stay here again though and would recommend the hotel.

"Loved the View"
We were really impressed when we stepped into the lobby of this hotel. It was awesome. The service was good and the front desk upgraded our room to give us a great view of the city, river, and park. We had a great stay and access to the riverfront park was easy. The pools had my son hooked he loved them. He had fun on the slide. We had a great lunch over at Cyrus O'Leary's in the downtown area. We could not get over the view we had , it was so relaxing and the sunset one night was fantastic. I would stay here again and again.

"Found a diamond in the rough"
I travel all over the United States and this was my first visit to Spokane. I chose the Red Lion Hotel at the Park because of the on site amenities and the location close to down town. What a great choice this was...the rate was well worth what you get. Newly remodeled rooms, nice new restaurant, and one of the nicest staffs I have ever experienced. I know there are higher end hotels in town with a much higher price, but I will not stay anywhere else but at the Red Lion because the value for the price is amazing. The service alone is worth the price. I will be back over and over.
