The hotel is very nice & the rooms are comfortable.The front desk staff however were not at all friendly & didnot go out of the way to help with information of any kind until a staff change on our last day when finally someone with a smile took over!! The staff in the breakfast room were very nice & would have done a good job at reception & as concierge!! There is an excellent restaurant right outside the hotel called SaMesa,definately worth a visit.I will return to the hotel again when in Milan only because I know Milan very very well,however a word of warning,take a decent map & guide with you as the one the hotel staff have is dire.The hotel is right near Piazza Firenze a good 30mins by tram to the centre of Milan, so in the evening the hotel is isolated from bars & restaurants (apart from the very good one across the road).

"Regency Hotel is a nice hotel "
Regency Hotel is a nice hotel with large (for Italy 4 st.) rooms, friendly personal, quiet attractive small garden to have a cup of excellent coffee at a real antic fountain (the building has its own history) the location is not actually good for tourists - too far from the center of the city and the nearest metro station, it would be OK for Fiera working accomodation or in case you have a car.

"Regency Hotel's ambience was charming "
Regency Hotel's ambience was charming with a Spanish/Italian decor. The breakfast, which was included with our room was more than adequate. All of us agreed that we would return to this hotel whenever we find ourselves in Milan again. The staff was extremely accomodating. We loved the restaurant, "Da Stephanos" which was within easy walking distance of the hotel and served the very best meal of white fish and Italian pastas we had the entire trip in Italy. The owner of the restaurant took care of us personally, ordered for us and brought out a sampling of the best of the "house".
