"Treat yourself !!!"
We have stayed at this hotel for 4 days during our round trip in California and do not have anything bad to stay about the place. We had a warm welcome upon arrival. Valet parking guys and reception personnel were very friendly and professional. A lady at the reception offered us a free upgrade to the premium room and we glad to accept it. I have a habit of checking everything in the room upon arrival and have ti admit that cleaning is exceptional. Even though it is a very popular place, nothing in the room or corridors has sign of use. The best part is the mattresses and silk bed linen that they use. On the top of all comes location. Hotel is on the cross of Wilshire Blvd and Rodeo drive which makes it to be the top spot if you are looking to spend some money in the shops near by. Also I really liked the French bath accessories that they use LOCCITANE. I usually use my own staff but gave theirs a try and loved it. Next day went to the shop and bought myself a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. If you decide to visit the famous restaurant THE CUT that is in the hotel, make sure you get reservation way in advance because it is very popular with posh LA residents. If we go to LA again and will not have constrains on the budget than we will stay at this hotel again.

"Wow. Outstanding"
Very, very impressive hotel. The classic older building was impeccable, beautifully maintained and sparkling. I was also very, very impressed with the staff - while waiting to check in, a very rude guest tried to cut me on line - and very graciously, but firmly, the receptionist took care of me first - that aplomb is the hallmark of excellent training and service. Staff like this is why Four Seasons consistently rates amongst the best hotel chains in the world.
At first, I was placed in a beautifully appointed room in the original building, but I was on a low floor and could clearly hear the large air conditioning units outside my window. I asked for another room, and within 5 minutes a bellman had arrived to escort me to a high floor room in the new building next door - and what a room it was. Flawless bathroom, slightly more modern room decor but still very warm and luxurious, large balcony from which I had a panoramic view of Beverly Hills, which looked like a picturesque European town in the sunrise. Ask for a high floor in the new building, you will not be disappointed.
I had a short one night stay, and so did not sample the spa, but the CUT bar was great - as a solo traveler, I usually prefer to eat at a bar anyway, and the full menu was available to me, with no wait. Excellent food. Breakfast the next morning in BLVD restaurant was also very good.
