"Beautiful, classy hotel"
We just returned from a week-long stay at the Regina. This was a beautiful hotel with a fabulous location and gracious service.
We had to have 2 rooms to accomodate our family of 4 and we were given connecting rooms. Both rooms were huge and beautifully appointed. The bathrooms were modern and large with every convenience we have come to expect in American hotels. The one bathroom even had 2 showers (one with a waterfall shower head) and a heated toilet seat!
A hot breakfast buffet was included in our stay, and was very much appreciated each morning.
The front desk personnel were very kind and friendly.
The concierge service was very gracious and helpful, even making restaurant reservations for me prior to our arrival.
The hotel is perfectly situated near the Louvre and within easy walking distance of two metro stations.
The only down-side would be that the surrounding area seems a tad touristy, but real Paris charm is just a short walk or metro ride away.

"The Beautiful Regina Hotel"
My boyfriend and I stayed there for eight days. It is a gorgeous hotel. We wanted to feel like we were in a Parisian hotel and we did. The location is perfect, right across the street from the Louvre and two blocks from the great shopping. The hotel staff was very helpfull and polite. I thought the room was small at first sight but it had everything we needed. The bathroom was beautifully done in pale pink and white tile. We did have to wait a bit for our room but not long. It really is an elegant setting and we dressed for it. I could tell the Americans by how horrible most of them dressed.
One note of caution ( stay away from the money changer that is right around the corner. She was obnoxiously rude)
The breakfast is well worth the extra money. It is beautifully set in a small and elegant dinning room. The breakfast was buffet style with a variety of delicious choices. It was a great way to start the day. I hope to return to the Hotel Regina on my next trip to Paris.

"Terrific Location"
The Hotel Regina was well situated for my first stay in Paris. My husband and I were in Room 418 and had a fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower, huge Ferris Wheel and gardens. The room has a small balcony.......large enough for you to stand and take in the view. The room itself had a firm bed and some older wooden furniture. It was small, however, large enough for our traveling companions and us to bring in "take away" and dine looking at the Eiffel Tower. Our bathroom was adequate (very clean). Our friends stayed in Room 416. Their room and bathroom both had balconies. Our breakfast was included: cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruit, cut up fruit, yogurt, miso soup, cereal, croissants, rolls, sausage, bacon, runny scrambled eggs, orange juice, coffee, or tea. We didn't go hungry. I agree with another review, however, and would take a quick bite elsewhere if you have to pay for the meal. The front desk, concierge and doorman were all very helpful. The hotel's room service responded within a minute of our request for a large bucket of ice each evening. We were a 20 minute walk from Notre Dame and St. Chappelle. The Louvre is across the street. You can easily walk to the Orsay or Opera. We took taxis to the Eiffel Tower and Montemartre. A reasonable way to travel when you have 4 passengers. I look forward to returning to Paris, however, might like to explore a different part of the city.

"Service, location, view and luxury- the best in Paris"
We travel to Paris frequently (3 times last year). This is head and shoulders above all the other hotels. It is ideally located near the Louvre, Angelina's (the best hot chocolate and desserts), shopping and metro.
The hotel is elegent and the staff is unbelievably helpful.
We stayed over the New Year's holiday and could not believe how well the staff treated us. Everyone from the concierge to the kitchen staff was so helpful. We especially appreciated Stephan, the dining room manager.
Our room had a balcony that overlooked the park with a gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower.
The hotel arranged cars, taxis, a visit to see Monet's work and dining arrangements.
I cannot say enough about our experience.

"Just brilliant."
A weekend away in Paris. Great. All paid for by my girlfriend. Even better - who could ask for more?
That would have been enough for me, but staying in such a lovely hotel really was the cherry on the top.
The location of the hotel is perfect - across the road from the Louvre, just off the Champs Elysees, a short walk from Notre Dame, the list goes on. Now, location is important when you're staying somewhere for a weekend and don't want to waste too much time travelling from landmark to landmark. The few trips we did have to make on Paris' public transport means were punctual, simple and inexpensive. I know in Britain our standards have dropped somewhat, so it can't be that difficult to please, but I couldn't find fault with any of it.
However, location is not everything, and the Hotel Regina really did excel in provision of an outstanding service. My (now wonderful!) girlfriend phoned prior to our visit and requested a free upgrade. This was accommodated without issue, and we found ourselves in a beautiful suite with more space than we knew what to do with. The staff were helpful, polite and friendly, and seemed to go out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one, in which they succeeded.
The food (we had breakfast every morning and room service on one night) was very good indeed and service impeccable.
The building itself was full of character and a fine example of its era, both in terms of architecture and decor - so much so that I spent a little time having a walk around and taking photos of the inside and outside!
I can't recommend highly enough.

"Fantastic!"
my husband and I stayed here for 4 nights traveling Through out Europe this past summer. The Regina Hotel was one of my favorite places. The hotel was lovely. The room decor was beautiful. I was very comfortable. The staff was warm and helpful, and willing to accommodate any needs I had. The location was about 3/4 of a mile from the Eiffel tower, a nice walk. lots of shops around.

"Perfect Stay"
Spent four days with my teenage daughter. The hotel was more than accomodating. We arrived at 1 am our time and 7 am their time. After taking our bags, they directed us to a little creperie across the street, and told us they would try to get our room ready early for us, (which they did) . Because I asked for a quiet room in lieu of a view, they upgraded us without asking. Our room was lovely, very large for european standards, and very quiet. Breakfast was included, served in a very pretty room with friendly staff. In fact, all of the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The concierge service was phenomenal.
This hotel location, across from the Louvre, and the Tuilleries Garden, was excellent. We found the short walk to Musee D'orsay easy, enjoyed the nearby stop for the boat rides, and took a longer walk to the Rodin museum. The metro system is very easy to master, especially with the staff drawing on their free maps for you. Notre Dame was a few stops away (there is a very convenient stop near the hotel). Don't forget to go out the back door of Notre Dame, cross into Isle de Citie and enjoy a most delicious Berthillon's ice cream. ( I recommend a double scoop with chocolate and raspberry!).
We were very pleased with our stay here and would recommend it highly.

"Wonderful stay at Regina Hotel"
My friend and I stayed at the Regina our first night in Paris.
The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful.
We were lucky to have a room facing the Eiffel Tower and the Tuileries and had our lunch from room service the
day we arrived. There was a large dressing area with
plenty of room for a month's worth of luggage, and the
bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. We
returned to the room after dinner and sat on the couch
watching the twinkling lights of the Tower and the
other beautifully lit buildings. This hotel was a treat,
and we would both stay there again and again!!

"Vive La Regina"
This was my first trip back to Paris in 10 years. What a surprise, the French have gotten nice again. This hotel is just wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful and seem to genuinely care if you have a good time. They arranged a ticket to a hard to get concert at the last minute and took care of everything. The concierge service is excellent. The hotel is spotless. The linens on the beds were wonderful. Our room was not large but had two balconies facing the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. We even had a balcony in our bathroom. When the Tower began blinking at 10pm, it was magic time. Room service is fast and the food is excellent. The cost was not horrible (by Paris standards) I think I got what I paid for.
I'm going back in March and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
