"very convenient" Location was excellent,just a stone's throw away from the Buone Noevelle subway stop. The neighborhood was great, giving you a "living in Paris lifestyle" while on vacation:a lot of fruit stalls with sweet luscious cheap cherries, supermarts to buy your food supply while on the road, bakeshop with very delicious pastries, and Chinese restaurants just across the hotel with cheap buffet lunches.

"great budget hotel in paris" I read all the trip advisor reviews for this hotel before I went and found them really useful. The hotel was very clean and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The metro is at the end of the road and we were able to go all over Paris during our stay. As lots of reviewers said, the Rue Mazagran itself is a bit run down but it is soon to undergo a face lift and we saw signs up announcing some redevelopment there. No groups were hanging round the hotel itself when we were there but there were groups on the street corners. We never felt threatened and tended to stroll down the boulevard towards the Place de l'opera in the evenings with no problems. We thought this was a great little hotel for the money we paid. We would certainly stay here again, breakfast was included in our deal and we enjoyed it.
