Perfectly adequate
Have just spent 3 nights here as a base for sightseeing. Short walk from Gare du Nord. We walked to Montmartre from here; very pleasant walk. Hotel staff very pleasant without exception. Breakfast plentiful and varied. Lift a bit temperamental during our stay! Comfortable bed;clean room and spacious bathroom; tea-making facility too!Would definitely use this hotel again. |

Great little hotel
Great little hotel. Clean, good service, pleasant, helpful staff, well appointed, adequate breakfast. Very convenient location for travel to all areas of Paris. Mere 3 minute walk from Gare du Nord (one of main railway stations). All basic amenities available around hotel. Free wireless internet. |

"Sufficient"
I stayed here for five nights in May. I didn't need a taxi to get to Gar du Nord. There were boulangeries close and small markets and a lavarie 1 1/2 blocks away. I found the size roomy compared to some boxes I've stayed in. The bathroom was modern, the beds comfortable; the little refrigerator was appreciated. It's just luck if you get noisy neighbors. I had none. The help at the desk would reply in English to my French. If you need info or just want to speak to a native then talk to the night clerk. He usually has time to share.

"Nice and quite"
My husband and I stayed for a week in the Relais de Paris Lafayette on New Year holidays. The hotel is well situated in the quite street and in 5 minutes from three metro stations – Gare du Nord, Poissoniere and Gare de l’Est. The hotel is in modern style but there is nothing specific in design to feel you staying in Paris. The room was nice, everyday cleaning up. TV, minibar, condition and tea making facilities. Small but new lift and spiral stairs. Breakfast was ok, continental buffet: juice, cereals, bread, butter, six kinds of cheese, boiled eggs, buns, jams, yoghurt, milk, tea, coffee. Breakfast room is not large but enough to place all the guests. The little problem was that thre is no safe in the room and the safes near reception are not enough – they were all busy.
