"Very good hotel"
My husband, 8 year old daughter and I spent 4 days in March at this hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We arrived from LAX around 12:00pm, totally expecting them to make us wait until 3:00pm to check in, and was surprised to find that they allowed us to check in right then. The ladies at the front desk spent 20 minutes explaining the area, restaurants etc. Everyone at the hotel were extremely genuine in their willingness to help. They were all courteous and a few of them spoke good English. I believe if you make an effort to make yourself understood you will have no problems. There is a huge shopping mall less than a five minute walk away where they have McDonald's, pastries, sandwiches, clothing, pharmacy etc. There is a huge grocery store called Auchan inside the mall, where you can purchase water, wine etc. The hotel restaurant can be very expensive so we took the train which is adjacent to the mall and went downtown Paris and then took a taxi back late in the evening.
I would not want to stay in a hotel room when visiting Paris thus the room rate compared to so many hotels was great, and considering it was only 10 minutes by underground. It is very quiet at nightime which is great and got plenty of rest. We had a room that overlooked La Defense and even with the hustle and bustle of everyone going to work in the morning you did not hear a thing as it was so quiet. Paris is very expensive so by paying less for the hotel room, we got to spend the money on nice excursions ie: lunch on the "Bateaux Parisiens" and very nice scrumptuous dinners. The rooms were great, the bed was comfortable with clean crisp linen. The bathroom was well stocked and any time we asked for something, we did not have to wait long. As seasoned travelers we always tip everyone and we always get great service. I do not think, that had we not tipped them that it would have been any different, but they do go the extra mile. All in all I loved the hotel, the staff and would definitely return.
Thank you, Willy (the Manager), Marie-Paule (concierge amazing lady) Mark, Sergine, Anna (restaurant) William (Bar Manager).

"Great Hotel!!"
I was able to get the room on the weekend rate deal and they gave me a free upgrade to an executive room with a king size bed. I was also there for my honeymoon so they sent up a free bottle of campaign. Like others have said it is not in a main tourist attraction area but it is about 15 minutes by the metro and maybe 10 mins by the RER to the center of Paris. The room was always clean and comfortable. The room was large room which is hard to find in Paris especially at the price. The front desk was always very helpful and they all spoke English. The mall is closed on Sunday, but a lot of stores in Paris are closed. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice clean hotel with a/c and amenities.
