good but be on your guard
i steyed there 3 night and got for what i`ve payed for. Not too bad in the whole but be on your guard some of the staff act suspiciously others are very helpfull.thanks to the nice guy standing behind the front desk,i`ve booked a taxy on saturday evening 29/11/08 for the morning of sunday 30/11/08 at a fixed rate,only to discover on the morning of departure around 8:30 AM that the taxy had to be rebooked(so the girl behind the front desk said),then once we were on the taxy the rate was nearly doubled,we had no choice but to pay or risk to lose our flight.i guess it was clever.

basic budget hotel in Glasgow
I stayed 1 night there and it was a nice simple hotel. The best thing was its location. There were many bars, shops and clubs around the hotel. I didn't eat at the hotel so I don't know how meals were. My room was quiet and I slept well so I got what I paid for. The hotel can be suitable for short stays

Rennie Mackintosh Hotel Union Street on Renfrew Street is excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again. It is in a very handy location, being only 5 minutes walk from the city centre shops, bars and restaurants. Despite the central location we experienced no problems with night time noise. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Rennie Mackintosh Hotel Union Street is in a great location. very handy for all the city centre facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a minor thing, but there was only one pillow in my room and I, like most people, prefer two.
