Residence AT is a new structure, inside an authentic Roman residential building, that opened its doors in 2007 in the central Roman square of Piazza Barberini, at the start of the Via Veneto, the famous road of the Roman “dolce vita” or good life.
The building in which the hotel is located dates back to the 18th century and, as a result of the historical status of the building, there is no lift access to the hotel rooms on the third floor. This does not take in any way from the quality of the facilities on offer and, in fact, adds to the ambience of the hotel.
The rooms of Residence AT are fitted with modern amenities and some rooms face directly onto the Piazza Barberini and the beautiful Fountain of the Triton by the Baroque sculptor Bernini.
The Via Veneto, made famous by the film of Fellini, still maintains the image of the good life of Rome, or "La Dolce Vita". From the hotel guests can see for themselves the beauty of this street and sample some of the fine restaurants which line either side.
Clothing stores and gift shops are close at hand including the famous shopping streets, Via del Corso and Via Condotti.
Buses and the metro underground line can be taken from Piazza Barberini to any part of the city.
