Good and bad We spent three nights in Bologna with my wife in twin room. We liked the location, very easy to walk around the city and sights. Breakfast was big dissapontment, just little bread, cheese, ham, and some cakes. Thats it!? No fruits or vegetables. And the walls seemed to be like paper. We could hear everything from the next room. And they didn´t even shout, just talked normally. Not going to go there again. 3.4

"brilliant stay" |Having just read the differing views of the Residence Bologan I am astonished. I went there last week with my daughter for a long weekend and my first sight of the Residence Bologna was not encouraging. It looked from the outside like a typical middle European pre-glasnost apartment building with a scruffy lift and echoing and cold stairs. However, the flats have all been renovated and the apartment we had consisted of bedroom, living room with a balcony, kitchen and bathroom, all immaculate. One thing I would agree with on previous comments is the lack of cutlery and equipment in the kitchen and I will be writing to the management about this. We had excellent service from the reception and found everyone most helpful. We had no problem with the noise of working or drilling while we were there so cannot comment on that, though some work was being done on another of the flats while we were there. Totally central and convenient and I am planning a return trip to Prague as I loved it so much, and would happily stay here again.

"Loved this hotel" We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Residence Bologna in Prague and loved every minute of it. The hotel is very central, all the main sights are only a short walk. We thought we had booked a double room but got a suite, with large bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. The bed was two single beds pushed together with two single quilts, I think they should consider getting some double beds or at least double quilts. It was spotlessly clean and reception staff were very helpful; arranging tours etc. Breakfast was fine, cold meats, cheese and breads. There were builders working on the site so consequently the appearance of the entrance was not great, however, noise was not an issue and I am sure it will be lovely when finished. I look forward to returning.
