"Great experience!"
We booked our trip though Yahoo Travel and made the decision to stay here based on the other two reviews and are glad we did! The female hotel staff were excellent and very friendly. The breakfast they had every morning was delicious and varied. The room was large and comfortable, and yes, the shower was beyond tiny. The only complaint about the room was that the hotel management switched off the AC for "ecological" reasons, but I suspect it was financial reasons instead. The weather was perfect, about 72 F and it only rained one night and sprinkled briefly for one day. As for the location, I would recommend this hotel for people who won't go out a lot to experience the nightlife. We're in our early 30's and after touring the city during the day, we would return to the hotel to change for dinner, going to a bar, or clubbing at night. The hotel is about 15 mins from the nearest metro stop and that quickly became a pain. So if you plan to go out a lot, get a hotel very close to a metro stop. Other than that, book this hotel and you'll be glad you did!!!

"Really nice, friendly hotel"
When we arrived in Paris, we had arranged for the Paris Shuttle Bus company to pick us up and take us to the hotel, but the hotel seemed to be very difficult to find - the front entrance is behind a little Cafe Bar / Tabac. However, once we found it, and walked in, we found it very clean with very nice, contemporary furnishings and decorations. The manager was very friendly, and very patient as our french wasn't very good. The room itself was an adequate size with a very clean ensuite shower room. The only thing that wasn't so great was the noise from neighbouring apartments at night. In the morning, all of the staff were very friendly as we made our way to breakfast down in the cellar. Breakfast is the usual continental affair, but there was a lovely selection of croissants, cereals, fruits, cheeses etc. The hotel was about 5 - 10 min. walk to the nearest metro (Francois Mitterand Bibliotheque) which isn't too bad. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
