Residential Caravela Hotel
Good location, basic and clean, quite acceptable for the price. the 'car park' is a garage which costs an extra €15. no mini-bar or modem connection in our room. good water pressure in the shower. rather grumpy gentleman behind the desk - don't expect any help with your luggage (then again it was the end of Summer so maybe he'd simply had enough..). tiny elevator which struggles to fit more than two people and one suitcase. rudimentary breakfast of tea/coffee or organge 'drink', bread rolls with condiments or ham/cheese which was nothing lavish but included in the budget price. the price makes it worth a short stay in my opinion. half hour walk to the touristy old town.
