Excelent place to stay
Have just returned from a couple of nights in the Reval Hotel in Vilnius
and it was excelent
The location is about 5 minutes from the old town and its quite a nice walk on a sunny day allong the banks of the river.
For the ladys there are 2 large shopping centres within 1 minutes walk from the front door of the hotel selling all the latest gear and smelly stuff if its like everything else it should be substantially cheaper
Having traveled to other citys in Eastern Europe we were not expecting this hotel to be as good as it was .The general rule of thumb for Eastern Europe is to take at least one star of the hotels rating to compare with a typical european capital but the Reval was was as good if not better than most other hotels i have stayed in in Europe
The staff in the hotel were excelent. the hotel facilities were excelent the breakfast had a wide variety of hot food ,cold meats,fruit,bread and cerial so there was something for everyone
On the 22nd floor of the hotel they have the "Sky Bar " whic gives you the best view you can get of the city.During the summer months there is a spot down by the river 200 mtrs from the hotel which is turned into a beach ,it has a few beach voley ball courts an outside pool and a bbq area and a beach hut bar it was great as a watering hole on route to the old town...

Large and quiet room, excellent breakfast
My room was very large, as was the bathroom. The room was very quiet. The breakfast was copious, with a large choice. There's a nice bar on the top floor. The restaurant prices were reasonable for such a hotel. Wireless networking is available throughout the hotel.

Great Stay At Reval Hotel Lietuva
I stayed at Reval Hotel for 3 nihgts for a business trip.There was an amber fair there, which took place right in the hotel:the whole first floor was set for this purpose.
It's much much better than we expected, actually much better than common 4 stars hotel in Europe.
Our room,on the 17th floor had a very nice view on the city.It was clean, modern and quiet with a nice, well equipped bathroom.Also the general setting of the building looked new and modern ,with wireless connection located all around the building and free use of the interent in the main hall.
Both bars (spectacular the "Sky Bar" with amazing views and cool setting) had efficient staff, and the "Riverside" restaurant as well.The food was quite good.I think we will go back there not only for business, but also for leisure to visit the nice Vilnius again. |
