"Excellent Hotel" Spent two nights at Reval Ridzene. Very clean rooms. The staff is courteous and speaks perfect English. Awesome location - 5 minutes from the Old Town and the Art Noveau District. When I wanted to take a private tour to the Rundale Palace -- some 70 km outside Riga -- the concierge organized it quickly and not terribly expensive - something like 55 Euros. The restaurant was great. In general the food in Riga is amazing, try rye bread -- it's the best in the world! Overall, not a cheap hotel by Eastern European measures, but very well worth the price. Would certainly stay here again.

"Exceptional trip" We stayed at the RIDZENE for 2 nights - it was a lovely clean room,fab bathroom with heated floor,large comfy beds and all the comforts you would expect.Water,chocolates and next day weather forcast are brought to room daily .The location of hotel is perfect, 2 mins from small park and all sightseeing .Breakfast is extremley good in a very nice restaurant where you can watch the world go by.Sauna and gym on top floor has exceptional views.Staff very groomed , smart and curteous.Overall we had a brilliant few days in a beautiful city and would definatly recommend Riga and the hotel.TOP MARKS!!

"Wonderful Stay" We stayed in the Reval Hotel Ridzene for five nights and had a fantastic time. The staff were really professional and helpful. If we had any questions/problems they sorted them out straight away. The room was very big (superior double room) with a really comfy bed. The bathroom is as amazing as its made out to be on other reviews - I now want underfloor heating too! The Fitness Centre was actually quite good considering it isn't very large. One wall of the sauna is glass, so you look out on a beautiful park and some lovely old buildings. It's very relaxing to sit in a sauna and watch everyone else go about their daily lives! We also had a massage, which was very good value by Irish standards - the equivalent of €28 for 45 minutes. The breakfast every morning set us up for the day - couldn't eat again until about 5. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for a few days.

Outstanding service The hotel is in an excellent location; just near the Old City and behind a beautiful park and stream. The hotel is modern with very comfortable rooms. The breakfast which is included in the daily rate could not be better and the service staff could not be more helpful. From front desk to shoe shine to servers to housekeepers this hotel is outstanding.

Outstanding Hotel In The Heart Of Riga This ,is a great hotel.Very sleek,modern structure,cozy feel.Rooms perfect,HEATED FLOORSin the bathroom,contemporary furniture,very central,but quiet and private location around the corner from US embassy.Lovely sauna with great view/on the 6 floor/,superb breakfast/probably one of the best,inluding top places in Switzerland,Italy and Gemany/ and ALL for VERY REASONABLE price.If you planning your trip to Latvia this the best place to stay in Riga.
