"Great hotel...good location" We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the "old town", a very short walk. The rate was also very good for Tallinn. A modern hotel with a restaurant, nice, very clean rooms with modern bathrooms (showers only) no bath tubs. Breakfast is included in the rate and a very good variety of items were offered. I would not necessarily recommend the restaurant for other meals; however.The staff was very friendly and helpful. I should mention, that at this time, there is construction going on right beside the hotel. No jackhammers, but hammering and sawing. If you are a good sleeper or are not on that side of the hotel with the construction, you would probably not be disturbed. It starts around 8:00 A.M. and finishes around 5:00 in the afternoon (1700 hrs) You don't want to sleep late anyway with all the things to see in the old town. I would not hesitate to stay here again nor to recommend this hotel to friends.

"Clean and comfortable" Spent 4 nights here and was very satisfied with everything. True, there was some construction work going on right in front of our window, but it didn't affect us as there was no activity going on at night or in the early morning. The bathroom is pleasant, the bedroom is quiet, the curtains forbid any light from entering and waking you up before due, the breakfast has a rich selection of food, that ranges from porridge to herrings to sausages&eggs... and more. Only the fruit salad is missing. The location also is ideal, just a hundred meter away from Fat Margaret tower. Overall, couldn't be more pleased! and am quite surprised that the hotel only earned 2 stars. The staff also is very helpful, plus there's also an internet box available (or, actually, most of the times not available, as there's often someone already using it). If I had to find a negative aspect, it would be that it's very far from the bus station... so if you plan on going to Parnu or Riga, expect to make it to the station in no less time than 45 mins. No problems instead with Tartu, as there's a good railway connection and the train station is only 15 mins of walk away from Reval Express hotel.

"A great hotel in the best location" I have been to Tallinn several times, but without doubt, this hotel offers the best value comfort. Its clean, modern, friendly and centrally located. Don't be put off because its adress is Sadama 1 (The port). Tallinn is such a small port city that you are at the start of the old town as soon as you cross the road, and nightclubs like Terrarium being next door or Venus, Panoraam and Hollywood being about 5 minutes walk, its a great spot if you hate taxis or getting lost! If you miss breakfast, thats ok too. an in house cafe serves value for money snacks and hot meals all day. This hotel is part of the Reval group, so expect something similar to TravelLodge or Novotel.

"A bargain" Stayed for 4 nites in Oct. in between Stockholm and Helsinki. Agree with everyone that it was a perfectly fine hotel just a short walk away from old town. Rooms were basic but roomy with everything you needed. The breakfast wasn't as good as the other two cities but you could fill up. I do recommend the evening soup buffet, really hit the spot on a cold rainy nite. Excellent value at 52 euro/nite on their web site.

"Great Value Hotel" I've stayed here a couple of times, both arriving on the ferry from Helsinki in the evening so the location is great as it's just a short stumble from the fery terminal. The rooms are basic, but comfortable, clean and have everything you really need. There is a good buffet breakfast in the Cafe, which is also open for food and drinks at other times. A PC in the foyer gives free internet access too. The docks area is not particularrly attractive, but the hotel is right next door to the Soviet built concert hall, and within sight of the city walls (although over a busy junction - use the crossings!). The centre of the Old Town is about 10 minutes walk. In all a great hotel for the money.
