The Rialto Hotel is located right off Las Ramblas one of the most famous and livelist areas of Barcelona from here you can head to Place Catalunya Barcelonas busiest square.
The Rialto Hotel is also close to the Picasso Museum, the Casa Calvet, the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia and thePalace of Catalan Music.
The Lyceim and the Boqueria Market are also close by and not to be missed whilst in Barcelona.
Public transportation is readily available, and travel to and from the airport is very simple. To catch the metro or bus just head to Placa Catalunya where you can get both the metro and bus to all destinations of the city.

Rialto Hotel is a very good hotel. They had a waterleak from the roof in the corridor, but it was fixed during the nigth. We had a really nice stay.

"Great Location"
I have stayed at this hotel before and have to say that the new refurbished rooms are so much better.
The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was nice however the shower wasn't very powerful. It also had trouble maintaining a constant temperature.
The location is great, right in the middle of everything, and the staff were very helpful.
My only issue was that we had a room on the 5th floor quite near the vending machine and for some reason everyone decided to use it on their way back from a night out! It can get quite tiresome being woken up at 2.00am (and 2.30am, and 3.00am.....).
I think that you get what you pay for with this place, a reasonable hotel in a great location.

"nothing to complain about!"
I booked this hotel due to its superb location, once I arrived, contrary to some of the bad reviews I have read, I really liked the hotel. The rooms were clean and average size for a city hotel, and the breakfast was fine (much better than what i have experienced at some 4 and 5 star hotels in barcelona!) Everyone should stop complaining - what do they expect for the price they are paying! If you want jacuzzi baths and private butlers, stay at the Arts hotel by the beach, if you want to be in the centre and within a few minutes of all the good places, stay at the Rialto!
