Rica Hotel Hammerfest is centrally located in Hammerfest, the worlds northernmost town. Hammerfest is a busy trade and fishing center. Following a total refurbishment, the hotel has a new look dominated by brickwork, large glass surfaces and a fantastic view from the best location in town. In addition the hotel can now offer a new and modern conference department, piano bar and a brand new, first class restaurant.

Rica Hotel Hammerfest is centrally located in the northernmost city in the world. The hotel is beautifully appointed with a view of the harbour and the Sørøysund. Hammerfest, the northernmost town in the world, the polar night town, the gateway to the Barents Sea, the energy town of the north, the Snow White town – these are some of the many names which help to describe this little metropolis on the west coast of Finnmark.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Skansen Mat og Vinstue is the hotel's a la carte restaurant. A small intimate restaurant with an open-plan kitchen, and a fireplace in the centre. International dishes with a touch of the Arctic are served here. In our lobby bar you can relax in quiet surroundings. Rica Dancing is the city's largest venue and number one meeting place.

* Recreation room with table-tennis, sauna and solarium. Various recreational activities and excursions, e.g.: photo safari, visit to a Sami camp and fishing trips can be arranged. The hotel is ideally situated for outdoor activities with the mountain plateau right on its doorstep.

* In the hotel's modern conference section most of the rooms have a panoramic view of the harbour. The conference centre has several meeting rooms, including 2 VIP rooms and individual course hostesses. The hotel's guests have access to their own PC's with Internet and printing facilities. High-speed Internet is accessible throughout the hotel.
