"Great little deal"
I read reviews on other websites ie expedia and so on. But after staying at the hotel it was a pleasant surprise! Very clean and centrally located right downtown and a great price $70!! The room was a bit small but very clean, cable tv, radio and even a coffee maker. I would recommend this hotel to any budget traveler or someone whom just wants to save a few dollars. Everything was close to the hotel including the metro system 2 blocks

"Superb hotel"
This hotel was a great value in a prime location. Anywhere in LA where you can get around for cheap, do it. This hotel is a ten minute walk from the Pico stop on the LA Metro (get off the Metro and turn left. With the Staples Center on your left, continue walking up the street and the hotel is on the left). The staff were really friendly which was great because of some of the reviews I read. They let us check in at 9:30AM, too!! We had a nice room with a Queen size bed. The staff let us keep our lugagge behind the counter when we checked out all day so we could sight-see, too. The free Denny's breakfast is a nice touch, too. I would stay here again any day.
