"Rewarding Riverside" Took my Wife to celebrate her 40th Birthday in Prague. I chose to book at the Riverside based on Tripadvisor reviews and the entry in the luxury small hotels of the world brochure - we were not dissapointed. I have stayed in many 1st class hotels in the world whilst travelling on business, however the attention from the team at the Riverside was second to none. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty, doors opened, chairs arranged, free drinks in the bar and a full explanation of Pragues' highlights. On my wifes actual Birthday we arrived back in our room (after an exhausting day viewing the fabulous sights) to chilled champagne and flowers, which made the day all the more memorable. Every morning that we left the hotel a member of staff would see us out and ask if they could help with our travel plans for the day, making useful suggestions for transport and dinner. We will be back next year.

"Riverside Hotel Prague is a very nice luxury boutique hotel" Stayed with friends for three nights at this Hotel in March. It was a very pleasant experience. The breakfasts were just fantastic....they were included in the booking. The bedrooms were beautiful and also the bathrooms.....The bar was very small but not somewhere you would spend a whole night. There were many nice restaurants in the city to have an evening meal in. The weather was very cold in March. The public trams were a great means of transportation. We booked a taxi from the Airport to the Hotel on the internet and were delighted with this service.

"Perfect Location." My wife and I have just returned from a very pleasant four day break in a warm and sunny Prague.We opted for the Cultural Package at the Riverside and up graded to a Junior Riverview Suite (Room 604), which afforded us a magnificent panoramic view of the Vltava,Petrin Hill and Prague Castle.The Hotel thoroughly lived up to it's reputation,the staff being very courteous and helpful in every way and the breakfast very satisfying indeed.As part of the "package", we dined one evening at the U Modre Kachnicky which was the perfect choice, the food was very good and the restaurant quite unique. We opted another evening for the Perle de Prague, which was very chic but a little pretentious and very expensive, be wary the wine list.We used the Hotel limousine on two occasions in the evenings and would thoroughly recommend this option, so as to arrive at the restaurant in style and comfort and be picked up again at a very reasonable cost. We used the trams all the time during our stay, the terminus "Andel" being only ten minutes away from the Hotel. Prague is fascinating and we were not disappointed in anyway of our first visit.However we would suggest getting to the major sites early as it does get exceedingly crowded by mid day. Then is the time to take the funicular up Petrin Hill or have a nice leisurely lunch at a cafe near Kampla Park.

"Best service ever!!!" This hotel offered probably the best service I have ever received - so much so that I was always comparing the hotels I stayed at after Riverside during the week and was sad no one could live up to Riverside's standards! From the moment you arrive you feel welcome and taken care of. Having a seat in the bar is a nice way to check in. The front desk reception answered every question with a smile and made fabulous dinner recommendations. The breakfast room is very unique. It is downstairs, under ground, but you don't feel it - it has been constructed like a 'cinema room', complete with a big screen live web cam of the surroundings. The servers in the breakfast room practically bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. The rich red colors are warm yet not overpowering. Very modern. I parked directly outside the hotel - at no charge! I can't find any fault with the hotel, and would highly recommend.

"Cute hotel away from the hustle and bustle" I'm quite happy that we found this hotel that is a bit out of the way but still convenient enough and within walking distance to the main square and attractions. I think the price is a little expensive for Prague but the hotel was very comfortable so we did not mind. The room was quite small but very clean. A buffet breakfast was included. The spread was modest but definitely sufficient. The hotel was helpful in making us restaurant reservations and taxi bookings. It's best to have them call you a reputable taxi company because the drivers are notorious for price gauging. The hotel has its own driver who we usually used. When leaving for the airport, he was doubled booked without telling us so there was a moment of panic that we would be crunched for time but it all worked out and they offered us free drinks while we waited. I wouldn't say the hotel offers anything out of the ordinary or truly special but it was a very satisfying stay nevertheless.

"A fantastic place to stay" What a wonderful hotel. Situated by the river away from the main part of town but within easy walking distance. Stayed for 4 nights and loved it. Picked up from the airport in a chauffeur driven Mercedes at a small cost. The hotel is immaculate, the staff were friendly and very helpful. We received a free up-grade on our room on arrival and a welcome drink - a nice touch. The room was large, comfortable and had a superb bathroom. The hotel breakfast is a little expensive but it has to be seen to be believed - absolutely awesome. You name it, you can have it and Suzanna (the head waitress) will be personally offended if you don't eat at least 3 courses !! Despite this some petty Americans complained that was "not enough choice" - ridiculous and far from the truth. If you want to stay somewhere with a bit of quality, have good service, and don't mind paying that little bit more to get those things, then this is the place for you.

"Perfect place to stay in Prague" We stayed at the Riverside Sept. 14--18, based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! We booked the Cultural Package through the hotel website, which came with a dinner for 2 at a local restaurant, breakfast daily and transportation to & from train station or airport, as well as 3 day ticket for public transportation within the city & a Prague Card. We used the trams a lot, even though the walk to the hotel is most pleasant. Overall, we thought it was a great package, -well worth the extra price, and our room was just lovely. The service at the Riverside is simply impeccable. It was a wonderfully quiet place to return after a busy day exploring the city. Everything was outstanding & we heartily recommend it.
