Rochester Concept Hotel's rooms are good, clean. Big bathroom. The breakfast is also good. Overall a very nice hotel which i would recommend when somebody asks me where to stay in BA.

I enjoyed my stay in Buenos Aires. Hyde Park is a good hotel in the centre with many landmarks within walking distance. The hotel can reserve also tours. The rooms are good, clean. Big bathroom. The price i very good. Around $70 incl. tax The breakfast is also good. Especially the croissants which they call here Media Luna (half moon). It s a buffet breakfast but no eggs. Overall a very nice hotel which i would recommend when somebody asks me where to stay in BA.

First af all it is no longer the “Hyde Park Hotel”. It changed the owner and was renamed to “Rochester Hotel” a few months ago. I read several reviews on “Hyde Park Hotel” stated the rooms were dirty and shabby. It is not so now. I saw several rooms and found them clean and renovated. Rooms indeed are small and have almost no furniture, just a place to sleep. Lobby is a proper place to socialize. They have central air-conditioning but you can not control it. However, if you feel too cold you can simply plug the vent with t-shirt. Rooms that face Maipu are noisy – the traffic is heavy on the street but I did not mind. It was the natural sound of Buenos Aires!
Stuff is firendly and responsive. Some speak English. Breakfast is good: bread, butter, omelette, salami, backon, cheese, cereals, milk, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee, fresh fruits, croissants.
Two internet stations in the lobby. Free wireless internet works only in the lobby and in some rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors.
Location can not be better – right in the heart of the Buenos Aires
