"Loved our stay at robson suites"
We booked in for 3 nights at the Robson Suites. First night we stayed in a studio room, which was much bigger than expected, still had a full kitchen and seperate bedroom. The other 2 nights we were in a suite at the front of the hotel on Robson Street. This was very much a similar set up as the studio just everything was a bit bigger. For the difference in price I would book the suite again. Road noise was minimal and rooms were very light and bright with high ceilings if you get a room on the top floor (floor 4). The area of the hotel is brilliant, just a 5 minute walk to Stanley Park along the waterfront and hotel is very easy accessible from Georgia Street. A wide variety of eating places is nearby and we even walked over to English Bay and Davie Street. Since the area has a high permanent residency it was great to walk around at night and most shops along Robson Street were open till 9pm, Across the road was a supermarket and having a full kitchen (even dishwasher) your expenditure on meials is as high or as low as you would like. The girls at reception were great, always helpful and checked with us if we like the rooms. Parking was free in the underground garage which was very safe and accessible by elevator from the hotel.
We certainly will stay there again when we visit Vancouver.

Excellent hotel
Our suite was clean, comfortable and spacious. We were even upgraded from a 1 BR suite to a 2 BR suite for no extra charge. A friend who was with us was upgraded to a giant 1 BR suite with a large private balcony, also for no extra charge. The rate was extremely reasonable (about $165 Canadian). The location was excellent --right off Robson in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The hotel pays attention to little details -- my 7-year old daughter was particularly enamored with the "Children's Treasure Chest" of small toys to choose from at the front desk. The only complaint we have, and it's a minor one, is that there simply are not enough elevators given the size of the hotel. Sometimes the waits were just too long.

Excellent all round
Great value for money. Hotel has pool, small gym, spa and sauna, concierge and parking. Rooms are spacious and well equiped. King sized bed with sperate lounge area and kitchen facilities. Good location. 5 mins walk from main shopping area in downtown vcr. Complimentary muffins and tea/coffee in the morning although room also has tea/coffee. This was one of our last stops on an around the world trip and this hotel rates right up there in terms of value for money.

Great Location, Couldn't Fault it
For a city centre hotel we thought this one was excellent.
When we checked in the staff member couldn't do enough to help and advise us on our time in Vancouver. The room was large enough although it could have done with one bed instead of the two they had in there - there was a separate seating area so it wasn't a problem though.
On Robson Street is great for all the shops and most of the main attractions are within walking distance. We did wish we had got the water taxi over to Granville Island instead of walking but we did get to see lots more of Vancouver.
We went to the adjoining restaurant (although it was more like an English pub) "Rosies" for our tea one of the days and the service wasn't so great there, but still acceptable and the food was nice too.
