Located in the old part of Istanbul; the Royal Hotel is placed at a walking distance from Grand Bazaar. The St. Sophie; Blue Mosque; Topkapi Palace; Hippodrome; Suleymaniye Mosque and underground Cistern place are some area attractions surrounding the hotel.

Royal Hotel is located in the popular quarter of the Old City is within easy reach of all the main attractions with the metro only minutes in walking distancet. Istanbul is often described as the crossroads of Europe and Asia a heaving bazaar-city of camels; carpets and caravanserais with an imperial history stretching back for more than 1500 years. This metropolis of 15 million occupies both sides of an east-west land bridge divided by the 32km (20-mile) Bosphorus Strait; which also connects the trade routes of the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara and the Mediterranean. As a result; the city has been a jealously guarded centre of world trade since the Byzantine era; and protected by water on three sides; with the natural harbour of the Golden Horn nestled within the city.

* The large restaurant looks down onto the bar and lobby area. Restaurant serves local and international cuisine.

* The medium sized lobby is attractively decorated with the dark wood reception to the right and the bar area to the left. There is plenty of seating available in a relaxing atmosphere.

ROOM AMENITIES

* Decoration is of a good standard and mainly in darker base colours. Bathrooms are also well equipped and pleasantly decorated. A new wing has recently opened to the rear of the hotel with excellent quality bedrooms and bathrooms.
