Hotel Information
For a lovely stay...
The Royal Hotel is a privately owned 25 bedroom 3 star hotel situated at Waterloo, Liverpool, overlooking the Marine Gardens and the Mersey estuary, with views of the Wirral & North Wales in the distance.
Originally named the Crosby Seabank Hotel, this fine Grade II listed building dates back to 1815. Just one year later on the 18th June 1816, the first anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, its name was changed to The Royal Waterloo Hotel, and the district in which it stood adopted the name of Waterloo. Today with its grand proportions and Georgian Facade, much character is retained.
Furnishings and decor have been selected to reflect the elegance of the era, whilst at the same time ensuring that surroundings are comfortable, relaxing and above all, homely.
* The restaurant is available for day conferences, private lunches and weddings. The recently built conference suite is available for all meetings and private dinners. The duty manager will be happy to discuss your requirements with you.
* The Seabank lounge bar is the perfect setting for a relaxing drink or to sample our extensive bar meals menu. Whether you sip a Cappuccino whilst watching the "famous Waterloo Sunset" in our Veranda or enjoy a business lunch with colleagues, you will find the airconditioned Seabank Lounge a relaxing experience.
* The Seabank Lounge Bar offers a modern luxury dining / drinking experience. From Leather chesterfields to cafe style chrome chairs, plush carpets to continental tiles, whether you are drinking with friends or relatives or entertaining clients the Seabank Lounge Bar is the ideal meeting place.
* The Royal Hotel is offers an ideal setting for a Wedding Breakfast for up to 70 Guests. Built in 1816, the hotel reflects the grandeur of the Georgian Era. The Marine Gardens directly in front of the Royal Hotel offer a great setting for a photo opportunity.
