"Lovely!"
We recently returned from a week in Paris. It was a spur of the moment trip ( 3 weeks before leaving) and I relied upon the reviews on this website to choose the hotel. We have been disappointed in the past to discover hotels don't even resemble their photo, but not so with the Hotel St. Honore. Our room was very small, but beautiful. We opened the french door windows each night for cool air and pleasantly surprised how quiet the street was. The bed and pillows were great (we are pretty picky about that). We had a nice flat screened TV, but wish there were more English speaking shows. The breakfast was very adequate -- more than just bread. The dining area was beautiful too. The location was perfect, easy to access the Metro and close enough to walk to most sights.
The best asset to us was the service. The head waiter was attentive and friendly. The concierge very helpful. He recommended the Ciel de Paris Restaurant high above the city. It was delicious and a gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower and city. He guided us to the best dinner cruise, the one that cooked the food on board.
After reading all the reviews on this website of hotels and settling on this hotel we booked a package through Northwest Airlines where we found the best price. We would absolutely recommend this hotel again. We didn't ask for a larger room since we were getting "6th night free" and free breakfast deal, but might next time.

"Loved the Royal Saint Honore"
Just returned from a 2 week trip to Paris and Rome with our family of 5. We stayed at the Hotel Royal Saint-Honore twice during the 2 weeks, for a total of 5 nights. Each time we had 2 rooms.
Our experience was great. The rooms were adequate in size and very nicely appointed. All rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean. And the rooms were also very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful and were fluent in english. Our flight over was 11 hours late (thank you U.S. Air!) and we called the hotel to let them know - they could not have been more understanding or helpful! When we left Paris to go to Normandy for 3 nights we were able to store a bag at the hotel which was very helpful.
The location was great - a short walk to the Metro and the Louvre. You will not regret staying here!

"best combination: price & quality"
This hotel is always my favorite in terms of combination of: location, price and quality of rooms.
I absolutely love it. The only downside is that at the reception desk they are not very clever, but this is compensated by their kindness.

"St paddy's Day in Paris"
Consistantly reliable hotel with courteous staff and good facilities. Only breakfast served in restaurant, but room service light snacks available. Lots of restaurants closeby. Comfortable bar. Some rooms are small and closets can be on the small side. Bear this in mind when staying with a lot of luggage. Reasonable pricing for this fashionable area of the city. Close to Louvre, Opera, Notre Dame. Harry's Bar and the excellent Carr's Irish Pub.

"Perfect Location and Polite Staff"
Just returned from an excellent couple of days at this hotel. We've recently stayed at the Pavillon de la Reine and honestly thought the Royal St Honore better. The room, on the fifth floor, was a good size for Paris with excellent marble bathroom and a wonderful firm bed (which might annoy some, but pleased me and my wife).
Other plus points were excellent service, a fun cafe/bar on site, nice breakfasts, and the wonderful location. We could lean out of the balcony and see the Musee d'Orsay, and spy on the appartments opposite. We got a good deal at EUR 225 per night, including breakfast and museum tickets. One tip - don't go to Le Dauphin nearby, a Bistro with the nastiest waiter I have ever spied, but DO try the Auberge des Trois Bonheurs, a rather good Chinese restaurant on the rue St Honore.
