"Not Snobby At All !!!"
My wife and I took our 13 year old son down for a Wed - Sun visit. Stayed in an oceanront suite - very large and comfortable with great view of ocean off in the distance, and parties below us. The Hotel is really fantastic. Very hip and yet inviting. The pool is adequate, and there is great access to the beach. But the best thing about the Sagamore are the people. I read a review knocking the hotel for snooty staff - our experience was the opposite. As nice as everyone could possibly be. At the pool, the staff is first class and friendly. Their motto is "make the guest happy" and it shows.
South Beach is so much fun - so cosmopolitan and exciting. Can't go wrong staying at the Sagamore. Only other choices are Satai, Omni, National and Delano.

"The perfect hideway in the midst of it all"
I stayed at the Sagamore 12/23 - 12/28 over the Thanksgiving hoilday to attend a series of fundraising dance events. I fould the hotel and my room to be very pleasent. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The staff was there to get you whatever you needed at any hour of the day.
To previous posters who have perceived that the staff is snootly and aloof I would like to eduate them. In a hotel of the caliber as the Sagamore that attracts celebrities and others wishing anonymity it is very appropriate for the staff to be unobtrusive and basically invisible unless approached. This being said, I found most of the staff to be very professional and quick to assisst..
I will be staying at The Sagamore again 12/28-3/6 and look forward to another wonderful stay. I would highly recomend this property.

"Loved this Hotel. Will Return."
Loved the Sagamore!!!!!!!!
My 4 friends and I stayed in one room on the 5th floor. We checked in late on Friday and the minute we entered the room the AC was on and the room smelled like it was just cleaned. Loved that since I am a bit of a clean freak. The first thing we all wanted was a shower but it was broken. So we all had baths. In the morning we went downstairs to the reception desk and informed them of our problem. We then went shopping on Lincoln Rd (half a block away) and when we returned, the problem had been fixed.
Housekeeping always did an excellent job. The sofa bed was unbelievably comfortable. The staff was awesome, always willing to help (especially Lucas and Darrel). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Would definitely stay there again.
