Nice Hotel and Helpful Staff Nice Hotel close to the Railways Station, breaksfast simple but nice to be included in price, and the staff were very helpful. Yes, I would stay there again. 4.2

Not clean We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. When we got the room, I had to clean the toilet seat before I could sit on it and there was hair in the shower drain. The towels were changed every day, but that don't matter when the towels you get have stains on them. The carpet was very dirty and the sheets could use some bleach and the bedding had cigeret burns. The daily roomservice changed the towels, but the sheets was not changed (i know this for sure because og the stain that was on it). The roomservice didn't even clean after themself, there were black long hairs on the bathroomfloor every day. 2.0

good value Friendly and smiling staff very happy to help you. I was glad with the service at reception desk that arranging tours to Monaco, Monte Carlo, Antibes and Eze. I had a trip to Monte Carlo was perfect. My stay at Saint Gothard was a nice one. Very close to the station and also the Old Town. I loved the croissants at the breakfast - very delicious :-) The hotel was comfortable clean and in a good condition. I will probably stay there again when I come back to Nice. 3.8

Do not go to this hotel The staff is very unpleasant and extremely rude. I accidently left a very expensive jacket in this hotel and they denied that the jacket was left there, causing alot of frustration. The room was very dirty and the bathroom smelt bad. There was a lot of noise. The breakfast consisted of bread, some cheap fruit juice and some other inedible stuff. Also the location is very not suitable for ladies travelling alone as there are dodgy men hanging outside the hotel after dark ... 1.0

St Gothard Hotel Nice A very well placed hotel just a few minutes walk from the train station where the airport bus stops. staff are very freindly and helpful. The bad points are that it is in dire need of re-decoration it is more like a hostel than a hotel with rooms small and carpets threadbare. I have been in better hostels but if price and location are your priorities then go for it bedding and towels were clean and the towels were changed daily it was just spoilt by the grubby carpets, walls and bathroom. Breakfast was basic continental but o/k and again staff very good. 2.8

Good budget hotel A good budget hotel, clean room, a bit too small at 4th floor but with balcony, changed sheets every day, very helpful personal. Good hotel position, close to everything. In the right side of the hotel is a small and good restaurant, we eat there almost every day. 4.0

Sainth Gothard Hotel very near train station, easy to find & transport from airport to train station is convenient. Hotel is pretty average, nothing fancy, breakfast is not eatable but just as easy to buy your own meal, as it is just a 5 mnute walk to the supermarket, cafe, shops, so location is good for money. If you're not a fussy person, then will recommend it.

For low budget travelers only... First of all let's clear out, that you get what you pay... Possitive: Good position, near railway station, and near the main shopping avenue. Only 15 min walk from the beach and the old town. Live area with restaurants and fast foods. Staff speaks english and is very kind and helpfull. Negative: Room not very clean (although bath was clean, but rather small), every noise from other rooms is heard, poor breakfast (if you ask for second croissant they will ask you to pay, either your drink water or orange juice is the same), also our room had many signs of recent moisture. And if you have a balcony don't go out. You will have the fear the balcony will fall. Conclusion: It's not so terrible. It's has its good and bad things. If next time I am in low budget again, I will propably stay here ...

The Saint Gothard Hotel! Friendly and very helpful staff. My room was clean and quite big. Breakfast is so so... 2 mn walk from the SNCF railway station from where you can catch a train and go to Monaco, Menton, Grasse, Vintimille... Hotel near the Avenue Jean Médecin which is the main shopping street and leads you to the Promenade des Anglais (about 15 mn walk) I would recommand this place for sure!

Air conditioning Not a bad place for the price but the air conditioning was switched off each night around 2 o'clock. In a small confined room it got a bit hot. Just check to see if they still do this

"Fab Hotel for Price" Just came back from a 4 night break in Nice and stayed here. We were hesitant about the hotel because of all the bad reviews we had read but now think they were unfair. We had a Quad Room, which did need re-decorating but it was spotlessly clean and we have clean towels every day which was perfect. Breakfast was very basic but we didn't think it was included in the price so for us it was a bonus. Fantastic location away from the noise but still close enough to good restaurants / bars / train station etc. Staff were very friendly, helpful and cheerful. Would stay here again.

decent value for money a few blocks from the train station. area seemsed a little dodgy but we didn't have any problems. lots of good, cheap eating options very close by. you can walk to the beach and old town in about 15-20mins. room was ok with ensuite and airconditioning. not bad value.
