Salang Beach Resort located on the Salang beach which is on the northwest of the island, Salang boasts clear waters ideal for snorkelling and diving. It is close to Monkey bay and Tulai Island, popularly sought for their pristine beaches and vibrant undersea gardens. From Salang, visitors can also get easy access to Layang-Layang cave, and underwater rock formation. There are ample facilities in Salang.
LOCATION
Salang is located at the North-West of Pulau Tioman. It is the last stop for all ferry services from Mersing. Salang Beach Resort is situated on the left of Salang jetty. You need to walk about 5 minutes to reach the resort.
From the airport at Tekek Village, Or Berjaya Beach Resort hire a slow boat "sea bus" or "water taxi " and transfer to Salang Village. The journey is approximately 20 minutes and cost about RM 25.00 per person per trip.
PROPERTY AMENITIES
* Besides, there are one mini supermarket, Salang Beach Restaurant serving Chinese and Western food, Dive Asia Dive Centre which rents out diving equipment and accessories. The beach fronting this resort is not suitable for swimming. One better off going to Salang beach on the southern section of the village.
