"Seriously good value for money"
Was transferred to this hotel from another Sana Group hotel which was overbooked. It was quite worthwhile an upgrade. Hotel was catered more for conventions and groups (which bus the group around) as the hotel is out-of-the-way. The nearest Metro is not conveniently located, although there is a bus service to Rossio. Taxi is the most convenient way, and only way when there is no bus service. Otherwise our twin sharing room was spacious enough and bathroom was biggish. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel and was pretty quiet. Housekeeping was competent and responded easily to request for extra pillows. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.

"pleasant stay and good value for upgrade"
Just spent 4 nights at his hotel in July 2005, the hotel is very clean and presentable. Hotel receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Location is a bit awkward for use of public transport with any metro station atleast a 10-20 minute walk away which means elderly (like my parents) might struggle up and done the hilly streets.
Nice choice of food at buffet breakfast and ~Euro 12.50 for dinner is not bad value for money.
I would definitely book accommodation there again.

"The kindest people I ever met."
I really enjoyed my stay here. I should like to one day come again. I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet (encluded with our room) was generous and sufficient to last most of the day. We found that the sandwiches in the bar were less expensive than the resturant and were extremely good. I will come again with other family members.

Watch out for the laundry services, no ironing board is supplied instead room service will take clothing and return ironed - however this stung us 10euros per garment on our check out bill!
I would definitely book accommodation there again.
