LOCATION

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort & Spa is located close to the picturesque town of Playa del Carmen, on the strip of land between Cancun and the excavated settlement in Tulum. The ecological water parks X-Caret and Xel-Ha are also situated nearby, directly by the beautiful never-ending sandy beach of Playacar in vast, tropical surroundings.

The region is rich in findings from the Maya Period. The centre of Playa del Carmen can be reached within around 3 km. Here, various shopping and entertainment facilities as well as taxi and bus connections can be found. Transfer time from Cancun airport to the hotel takes around 50 minutes.

Five restaurants offer a nice variety. Broccolino serves Italian, and Los Alcatrases features Mexican; both are dinner-only with a la carte menus. The grill, which serves steak and seafood, is also only open for dinner. Poolside O La La provides buffets for breakfast and lunch, as well as snacks, and it becomes the a la carte Mediterraneo for dinner. The buffet room, which is themed nightly and provides entertainment, is open for all meals.

* Recreation
Sandos Playacar Beach Resort has an activities staff to coordinate tennis, swimming, water polo, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, and beach volleyball. A fitness room and bicycles are available for guest use. The resort has four swimming pools and four tennis courts. Golf may be played on an 18-hole golf course nearby.
