"Best Budget Hotel in Palma"
A big, busy Spanish hotel with great customer service ! Centrally located in a picturesque beach suburb of Palma, the Santa Ana provides good, economical accomodation. There are many entertainments for all ages, including Salsa and Ballroom dancing classes.The buffet meals leave a lot to be desired, but the area is crowded with cafes open until late, for all budgets. Best of these is "Snaps" about 100 yards from the Santa Ana. Further up the hill, "Cafe Centro" provides cheap and bountiful breakfasts.The hotel's beach/pool bar and terrace are wonderful retreats in fine or stormy weather ! There are wide-screen televisions and several public lounge areas.Excellent public transport leaves from near the hotel into Palma every 10 minutes, 7 days a week. The staff are endlessly helpful and mostly multi-lingual. They even helped me with my pronounciation as I tried to learn Catalan Spanish !If a budget or family vacation in Palma appeals to you, the Santa Ana is the best place to be !
