FANTASTIC HOTEL!
Have recently returned from a two night stay in the Savic and loved it so much have booked to return in May. The Savic really does have it all, a location to die for, a few minutes walk to the old town square, a easy 10 min stroll to Charles Bridge and 5 mins stroll to great shopping (for all budgets & tastes). You are spoilt in terms of choice for food and drink, but I can recommend the Buddha Bar for great cocktails and a lovely chilled vibe, Silver Bar & Cuban Bar for a fun evening with lively atmospheres. The Hotel itself has been renovated by the Wadehra family with exquisite taste, elegance and customer service in mind. The rooms ooze character and yet provide all the modern conveniencs a traveller could want, plus a few more in addition! The staff are really freindly and will go out of their way to help you. A special mention for Viera & Lucky who kept us smiling. Sanjeev, Wadhera & Nil are impeccable hosts too. Prague is a beautiful city with something for everyone, I can only advise you make your stay complete by choosing the Savic as the base for your visit. |

Loved this hotel.
I proposed to my wife during our stay at this hotel. The hotel gave us a beautiful room overlooking the Prague old town rooftops. The room and the bathroom were beautiful. The breakfast quite good. The stay made us feel very special. I am writing this review some time later, after we already got married. We love to talk about our stay at this hotel, in Prague. Beautiful city and a wonderful hotel at a great location. Very friendly staff. |

"Fabulous hotel"
Perfectly located right in the heart of Old Town. Beautifully and elegantly refurbished throughout with a real feel of class. Spacious bedroom had wow factor with four-poster bed, chandelier, chaise longue, plasma tv, air con, mini bar, safe, parquet flooring and wonderful view down cobbled street from the windows. Bathroom was luxurious and gleaming with floor to ceiling marble. My wife is almost obsessive about cleanliness and is a very reluctant traveller due to an aversion to sleeping in hotel beds, however she was completely at ease here as everything was spotless and she'd go back tomorrow. Buffet breakfast was plentiful with coffee, tea, fruit juice, fruit cocktail, yoghurt, cereals, toast, jams, bread, bacon, sausage, eggs, vegetables, cheese, cold meat, salad, croissants, danish pastries - this could be eaten either in the restaurant or outside on the courtyard decking. Staff were friendly and helpful.

"Fabulous hotel/location, nice breakfast but one receptionist almost ruined it..."
As mentioned the Hotel Savic was supreme value for the money...the rooms were great, the location was unbeatable, the breakfast was nice (nothing too flashy but fresh options and good for sure) and the gentleman that greeted us at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. The only flaw was that we loved the place and Prague so much we wanted to stay an extra day. I was at an internet cafe and just for kicks I looked up the Savic Hotel website for room prices. Their own website was only 109 Euros (10 Euros less than travelocity.com!) so rather than book it through their site we simply asked the girl at reception at the time if she could book the room for us. She told us it would be 119 Euros. We told her what her website said and reluctantly (I'm attributing this to some language barrier but we perceived her to be reluctantly helpful initially) she said she would do it for us. The next day a different girl was at the front desk. She flat out told us that we were lying and that their website did not say 109 Euros - we were absolutely astonished with this girls attitude (she's the blonde one if you're ever there). Fearing we made a mistake we went back to their website and sure enough we were correct. We paid the 119 Euro price only because we didn't want to have any negative feeling with the hotel and the city but that girl certainly tarnished what would have a been a perfect stay in a world class city.
Highly recommended property otherwise.

"Great hotel"
It's a great hotel in a great location. Front desk were very helpful. Room had air conditioning, mini bar, hairdryer, safe, and all other essentials. It was cleaned everyday with towels changed each day. Breakfast buffet was wide ranging and it had options for just about everyone.
