"a good value for the money – clean, responsive staff"
Sawasdee Banglumpoo Inn is a good value for the money – clean, responsive staff, food very close, travel agency, and the Internet. One advantage of this hotel is that it is located on a small street parallel to the Khaosan Road. As a result it is much quieter and doesn’t have all the madness of the Khaosan Road.

Sawasdee Banglumpoo Inn has great service, adequate rooms with cold A/C and it is right off of KhaoSan Road which is exactly where you want to stay if you are a Westerner in Bangkok. I will be staying here when I go back to Bangkok in the future. Even better, everything is on site for you, from internet to travel services to laundry & a restaurant. I can gaurantee you'll enjoy this hotel more than many others we saw in the area.

"Couldn't have nicer staff...."
I just spend three nights and then another two nights at the Sawasdee Bunglampoo while in Bangkok before and after heading to the islands. This hotel has great service, adequate rooms with cold A/C and it is right off of KhaoSan Road which is exactly where you want to stay if you are a Westerner in Bangkok. You can get anywhere in the city for 100-200 Bhat. It is always clean enough and the food is enjoyable and affordable....well, I guess everything is affordable in Thailand ;o) The Manager (Mr. Pat) made our trip for us, offering lots of great advice for shopping and sight seeing plus his staff were always smiling. I will be staying here when I go back to Bangkok in the future. Even better, everything is on site for you, from internet to travel services to laundry & a restaurant. I can gaurantee you'll enjoy this hotel more than many others we saw in the area.
