"luxurious" At the very heart of Amsterdam offering hospitality and luxurious vacation... Me and my friends went there as a group and all of us were glad. We chose the hotel because of its great location. Rooms are varied. I stayed a standard room. It was spacious and modernly decorated with good amenities WiFi, voicemail, safety... My best friend really loved WiFi and we had difficulty to make her out of her room :-) We were surprised by the early breakfast that was started to served at 5am it was cool :-) Very tasty dishes we tasted at the restaurant and they offered a wide selection of wine. We all liked the hotel's indoor pool so great! Besides the perfect stay, we visited the main sights of this beautiful city. It was wonderful we higly recommend! 4.2

The best value in Europe! We stayed at this hotel the night before we left for a cruise from Amsterdam. I was a little wary because it was so inexpensive and breakfast was included. We were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful, courteous and fiendly. the breakfast was excellent. A great variety of foods for any taste. They even had a coffe bar. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Although the rooms were small they were large by most European standards. This hotel is a bargain. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. 4.6

"Excellent value Amsterdam option" Knew this hotel would be out of the city, but location extremely convenient for airport, and hotel shuttle which runs on time every 20 minutes is very efficient to get you to the airport, where you can get train to city centre really easily. We paid £50 a night for bed and breakfast. Our room was huge, very clean and comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice. Warm hotel pool which was nice to have at the end of the day. Would certainly recommend this hotel even though it is not central. Value for money very good. Service standards high. Whilst hotel is pretty ugly from the outside, the interior is very pleasant. Good evening eating options amazingly in the motorway service station right by the hotel. We were very surprised to get excellent Chinese buffet options, as well as other really good choice of good foods. An ideal place to visit if it's raining and you want a nice evening meal, as we did.

"the A4 is 4-0" The location is especially wonderful for those NOT wanting to be in a city, but close enough to catch a train. The facility is a sprawling modern edifice, nicely decorated and very soothing to the often exhausted traveler. I checked in after a long flight from the ME and was somewhat ill. I asked for and received a very early check-in with no questions or hassles. The diningroom is a wonder, with excellent food and it won't bust your wallet. Also worth noting, free bus transport between Schiphol airport and the hotel, which saves a ton of money - taxis being very expensive in the area. Breakfast is included with the room rate and it is a very good breakfast. WiFi is available and there is also an internet cafe off the lobby. This is NOT a luxury hotel, but the rooms are more spacious than almost anywhere in Europe ( and some in the States ). Ground level rooms also have outdoor patios, with chairs and access to a small lovely garden. By the way, the rooms here are at least 50 % less expensive than at most Amsterdam hotels.

"It felt like going to heaven!" After a five night stay at a terrible and not inexpensive apartment on Amstel I was very concerned about our last night stay in Holland. Fortunatly I found the Schiphol A4 Hotel which was rated nicely by fellow tripadvisor users! To start with,the free shuttle bus was on time, the driver was very kind and, upon entering the hotel, I thought I had just gone to heaven!I was nicely greeted and given a large room which was great. The two twin beds were comfortable, the bathroom had a tub and a shower, there was a small terrace outside the sliding door, and the room was very clean. We had a small emergency and were directed to a special telephone number where they indicated how to go to the pharmacy in the next town. The shuttle driver was very helpful and, after taking Bus 196 at the airport, we found the pharmacy and went back to the hotel for the best night we had throughout the entire two week trip. The next morning we went to the buffet breakfast which highly exceeded my expectations. It had a great assortment of juices, fruits, coffee types ( capuchino, expresso, etc) scrambled eggs, bacon, different types of bread, cold cuts ( including salmon), cereals, and yogourt. I was very happy with the service and felt that this hotel was truly a gem. If you need to stay near the airport do not hesitate to book this hotel. Even if you feel that it is too far from the city the shuttle bus will take you to the airport which is above the main train station, where you can catch a direct train to Amsterdam Central Station. Granted it takes time and you have to pay for the round trip train ticket, but it is worth the money since the train ticket costs less than what you would pay for such breakfast in Amsterdam. Furthermore, you will be in a clean and beautiful place and will totally be treated like you deserve. The next time I go back to Amsterdam I will book my entire stay at this hotel since it is the best value for the money and close to the airport/train station, where you can travel anywhere you want or pick up a half or full day excursion to many places in the Nehterlands or even take a one day trip to Brussels or Cologne!
