"Great hotel -- the best in town..."
I am American, but have been living in Vienna for the past year. When I feel the stress of city life getting to me, I book a weekend at the Schloss Weikersdorf to unwind.
The hotel is great. The previous reviewer mentioned the lack of air-conditioning and the not-too-friendly service, but hey -- this is Europe. That's how things are around here...
At the Schloss Weikersdorf, you'll find nice, clean and comfortable rooms -- much better than any other you'll find in Baden. But the BEST part of all is the spa... it's small, and can get crowded... but if you're lucky enough to get there at an "off" time -- it's pure heaven. Highly recommended.

"Great location for a conference or meeting"
We held a meeting with external customers at this hotel and I cannot praise it highly enough for the great conference facilities combined with history and ambiance.
The location is very good if you do not want to be in Vienna - but still be close to the city. Rooms are small but well appointed.
There are plenty of beautiful walks around the hotel. Food is not Michelin star quality but certainly very acceptable.
