"Scotty's Hotel's room was lovely, clean "
Scotty's Hotel's room was lovely, clean and, after the noisy hotels I'd had to endure during the rest of my trip, fairly quiet despite being right by reception. I particularly liked having a little balcony, where I could have my breakfast and the free internet access was very useful. It is also in the centre and close to all the sights, but still within walking distance(about 15 minutes on foot) of the bus & train stations. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had experienced some dreadful treatment at a previous hotel, so this was an excellent remedy and a nice way to end my trip. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Scotty's Hotel is very well placed for walking round city centre. Nearby Market Hall handy for breakfast. No lift. Stairs a bit difficult if you're elderly or have heavy luggage.
