Settecento Hotel, ‘city resort’ hotel is set in a tranquil environment in the outskirts of Bergamo, within easy reach from Orio al Serio airport and the A4 motorway.

It’s a charming hotel that used to be an 18th century Italian Villa. It has been finely restored by a well known local architect and is complemented by modern facilities.

Settecento Hotel is located west of the city of Bergamo, in the so called ‘Isola Bergamasca’ (The Bergamo Island, because it’s surrounded by rivers). The distance from Bergamo is of about 5 miles but the brand new local ring road allows you to reach the centre and the local airport in just ten minutes.

The Settecento hotel is a must see. It consists of an 18th century villa that surrounds a former church (now annexed to the main building) that is now used as a restaurant private room or as a small meeting room. In the hotel you will find many pieces of modern art decorating and complementing the restored villa.

All around the hotel are monuments and churches dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries and can be visited within the ‘Romanic Itinerary’. Milano is just 30 minutes away either by car or train (train station is 5 minutes from the hotel) and the hotel is just on the way of Lake Como with its worldwide famous panoramas.

LOCATION

Settecento Hotel is the ideal place both for the leisure and business traveller.

From the local Orio al Serio Airport (BGY) follow direction BERGAMO; at the second roundabout follow direction MILANO/LECCO/COMO and take the Ring Road for approximately 6 miles; after the 'San Roberto' tunnel just exit at 'Bonate Sopra' and take right. Settecento Hotel is just half mile on the right.

From the A4 Motorway: most suitable exit is 'Capriate' for those travelling from Milano and Bergamo for who's coming from Venice or Brescia. From Capriate take direction Bergamo and later Ponte San Pietro. Once at the roundabout in Bonate Sopra just take second right and the hotel is half mile on the right side. In case you exit in Bergamo, just follow direction Lecco/Como on the new ring road and then exit at Bonate Sopra as above.
From Bergamo city center: follow the green signs for the A4 Motorway. Once at the big roundabout (motorway entrance) just take the first turn right direction Milano or Lecco/Como. Straight on for 6 miles and exit at Bonate Sopra as above.
