"The service was great."
My husband and I have been traveling across Italy for the past two weeks. We selected the Sheraton Bologna because it was close to the autostrada and we were able to visit Parma, Reggio and Modena in one day. The hotel also has a complimentary shuttle to the city and the airport. I did not hear one airplane. The rooms are very quiet. The restaurant was not that expensive and the food was very good. The staff is eager to please and most speak english. Yes the rooms are average, but who spends the day in their room? The shower was good and they have airconditioning. Even the five star hotels we have stayed at thus far did not turn on their airconditioning and it has been hot! The prices are reasonable and include a full breakfast. If you are looking to explore Bologna only, then stay in the city center. If you are using this place as a base, it is a great location.

"Unexpected Stay Made Very Pleasant"
On July 9th our flight home from Bologna was cancelled. - The airline put us up for the evening at the Sheraton Bologna near the airport. - This is an American style hotel for buisness travel. - We were very comfortable, had a very nice Italian meal and awoken and delivered promptly to the airport {BLQ} the next morning. - If you have to stay near the Bologna airport this would be the place to do it. - Ciao Ciao
