Great food, relaxing ambience, attentive staff, adequate pleasant and very clean leisure facilities. Very muchlooking forward to staying there again

"First Class!!"
Hotel Have just returned from a 3 night stay in Krakow with my husband, and we stayed in the Sheraton Hotel. This hotel is first class. We had a beautiful room, the best bed I have ever slept in and a lovely mini bar with drinks and snacks (all reasonably priced). The breakfast buffet was superb, with a choice of everyting from fruit, cererals, or a full Irish, also they made up omlettes to order which is a nice touch! We ate in the sports bar called "Someplace Else Bar" twice and both times the food was beautiful. Tours If you are thinking of going on trips we did the Salt Mines and Auswitz trips and went with Cracow Tours both times, which we booked at the hotel reception. If you are going on more that one tour with the same company you get a discount. Salt Mines We found the salt mines quite boring and long, also there was about 40 people in our group which is way to many, especially when you are undergound walking around small tunnels - did not enjoy this. Auswitz This tour is definalty worth going on, cant say it was an enjoyable experience but it is one not to be missed, some of the buildings literally made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, but it was so interesting to hear all the history behind it. Overall Hotel - well worthy of its 5 star rating!!!! Salt Mines - not for everyone! Auswitz - must do for anybody!

"Possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in"
My mother and I have just returned from a five-night stay in the Sheraton and we both agree that this is one hotel that we will be returning to in the future. The rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean, with the MOST comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The tea/coffee facilities are much appreciated too! The breakfast is excellent and really sets you up for the day. The staff are all excellent, very helpful,friendly and efficient. They have brilliant local knowledge and, when I informed them that it was my mother's birthday during our stay,they went out of their way to get us a good table in a fantastic restaurant, as well as organising cake and wine in our room! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and I would encourage everyone who can afford it to stay here when they visit Krakow

"Great Choice for American's in Krakow"
My family of 8 just spent 2 nights at the Sheraton Krakow. We had multiple rooms and they were all great. The restaurants were great, loved the sports bar patio. The bartenders at the lobby bar were friendly and helpful with recommendations. I only wish Sheraton hotels in the States were this nice!!!!! We took a horse drawn carriage from the Town Square back to the hotel for 100 zloty, not bad. But you can walk it in 10-15 minutes for free. The castle is only a 5 minute walk up to the entrance. There is a pedestrian walkway along the river which was a nice stroll. Overall, my family would most definately return!!!!!

"Sheraton krakow-wonderful hotel !"
Just to re-iterrate practically all other reviews. This hotel is wonderful. We were a family of 2 adults adn 2 children - so swimming pool was on the list. This is one of only a few hotels in Krakow who have one ! This is truly a 5 star hotel (with prices to match) but if 5 star is what you want - this is what you get. They have 2 restaurants - Olive restaurant - formal & upmarket and a bar restaurant - serving lighter fayre (but good quality) Great if you have younger kids. Both offered exceptional quality and not TOO pricey (for 5 star hotel) If you have the funds - then go for this one - just beneath Wawel castle and facing the Vistula river - wonderful location - 10 mins to Old Town square. Made our visit to Krakow perfect - enjoy ! Booked flights through Sky Europe.com - only airline to fly direct from Manchester - book early for exceptionally low fares - we didn't unfortunately., but flights start from £9 + taxes !! (we

"5star quality and service"
There were 2 of us travelling and due to flight times etc we arrived late evening at the hotel. Unfortunately when booking I had inadvertently asked for a twin room rather than a double and the staff were extremely helpful in sorting this problem out, particularly considering the fact that they were fully booked that evening. The bedroom was large and spacious and this is normal standard for the Sheraton Krakow. For the 3 days that we were there I must give this hotel a 5 star rating in all aspects-food, location, friendliness, quality etc etc. A truely enjoyable stay and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others, particularly as I would be classified as a very fussy person.

"Great hotel"
Wanted a nice place to stay in Krakow, and this was great. The walk from the train station was a little long (25 minutes?). And you have to walk maybe 10 minutes to get to the main square. Other than that, beautiful rooms. Very good breakfast. And the staff was really friendly and helpful.
