"Fantastic Location!" We walked in here and booked 6 days as we'd just had a nasty experience at a different hotel. It was more expensive than I'd have liked at $99 a night plus taxes, but knowing that it was a Sheraton gave me confidence we'd be staying somewhere decent. We got a room on the 6th floor of building one, overlooking the main road. We couldn't hear the traffic at all though, so that was fine. We had two queen beds, very, very comfortable, infact, too comfortable as it was hard to get out of bed most mornings! I loved the themed rooms, we had zebra striped duvets on our beds! Good spacious rooms, well equipped. The staff were very friendly, especially Daniel who checked us in. We loved the pool and spent several hours there during our stay. It's very clean and a decent size area with plenty of sun loungers and chairs. We didn't use the restaurant but I did have one cocktail from the Monkey Lounge in the pool area, I thought $8 was a bit steep for a drink that came in a plastic cup and had next to no alcohol in. I don't mind tipping either, but being charged for a gratuity automatically is rude in my opinion. It's not as if the bar tender had served my family a meal. Anyways, that was my only grumble. The location of this hotel is the best feature. It's one set of lights away from the I-4 but very quiet and peaceful. Not overdone like I-Drive and Kissimmee The parks are all very close and there's a Black Angus steakhouse just down the street. What more could you ask? I'd definitely stay here again.

"excellent value for the money" My husband and I booked a last-minute trip to the Sheraton Safari through Priceline. We got a rate of 55.00 per night, which was a 50% discount for the period we stayed. The location is fantastic-one quick trip down to I-4, and we were in Disney in 15 minutes. We used our own car, as the shuttlle service was not as frequent as we would have liked. The room was fantastic-we received a 4th floor, building 1 room facing the front. The room stated that this was a preferred room. After reading the negatives on this board, I was prepared for the worst. Not so! Everything looked new-bedspreads, furniture, bathroom clean and fresh. After sleeping on their new Serta Sleeper mattress, we're buying a new one for our own bed! Literally, the best night's sleep we've had in a hotel. Lots of towels in the bathroom, complimentary bottles of water, 5 pillows on the bed! Staff was polite and checkin was a breeze. We were able to checkin early as hotel was not full, which was a plus. We only stayed one night, but after a day at the park, we were more than ready for a good night's sleep, which we got. Would recommend this hotel to anyone-just ask for a preferred room.
