"Great place for the price! Perfect location!"
After bouncing around Bangkok, we somehow found this GEM in the middle of it all. Situated about 1.5 blocks from Patpong (which was incredibly fun and clean - my girlfriend even loved the area!!) the region is by far the most exciting part of bangkok -- 24 hours, everything is alive.
The hotel is a boutique hotel with great service, rooms were very clean, and a pristine spa, gym, and pool on the roof. Really loved the hotel, and I highly recommend staying here.
In the photos, the pool water looks a bit green, but it wasn't -- it was perfect!

"beautiful room, good location"
I stayed at the Siam Heritage for 4 nights plus an extra day. The coup occurred while I was staying here.
I had an executive suite room on the 7th floor which was really nice. It was basically a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchenette. My room was on the corner of the building overlooking Suriwong Rd. The room was nicely decorated and I think it is actually the room shown in the photographs of an executive suite on their website. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bothroom has a nice shower with good pressure as well as a nice deep bathtub which I used one afternoon. I liked the opaque glass block windows in the bathroom.
When I arrived my room was not quite ready yet. I was offered a complimentary drink at the roof bar but I chose to just wait at the desk. The front desk staff doesn't speak a lot of English but they tried very hard to take care of me and everyone was very polite.
Be aware that there is an extra charge for internet access which I found a little surprising. They require you to get some sort of modem from the front desk and then pay a daily fee. Instead I just used my wireless to leech off of the network from the Tarntawan Place hotel around the corner. Was a bit slow at times, but it worked and didn't cost me anything.
The breakfast was good. A nice selection of fresh fruit, french toast, cereal, juice, bread, etc. I think you could also get eggs cooked to order if you wanted them.
The bell boys were extremely friendly and helpful.
The hotel does appear to have a very strictly enforced policy of no unregistered guests allowed. So that may be a consideration for some. They even tried to stop my guide from entering the hotel late on the night of the coup.
The hotel's car service took me to the airport at the end of my stay and it was very comfortable, but the driver insisted on playing a rather loud DVD of western pop music on the way. I suppose if I had asked him to turn it off or down he would have done so as it seemed he put it on for me to enjoy.
It is near Patpong as well as the gay nightlife areas. The hotel is also a couple blocks walk from the Sala Daeng Skytrain station. So the location is quite good. There are always a ton of taxis on Suriwong Rd so if you need a cab they are plentiful and cheap.
Overall I was quite pleased with my stay there and would certainly consider staying there again.

"Perfectly tranquil"
We had booked a four night stay at this hotel for our arrival back into Bangkok at the start of December. We had tried booking several other hotels on the web but due to it being high season they were fully booked so we were pleased to have stummbled across this place.
We booked an executive room and were delighted at how beautiful the room was when we arrived. The polished wood floor and lovely dark wood furniture was a delight. The staff were lovely and on entering the hotel we were amazed to find how wonderfully quiet and relaxed it was especially knowing that Patpong and a hive of other activity was just a 30 second walk away.
The only problem is that there is a massive building site next to the hotel and the noise from this woke me early on the first morning. I contacted reception and asked if we could move to a room on the other side of the hotel to avoid the noise. The staff were very helpful and arranged this for me however we had to down grade to the cheapest room in order to do this as that was all that was avaliable. The only difference between the two rooms was that the executive room had a small kitchenette and the other didnt, but who wants to be cooking in Bangkok anyway?!?!
Breakfast is lovely with a variety of fruit, pastries, cereals, cooked breakfasts and an egg chef! We also ate at the hotel restaurant one evening and again thought the food was very good.
The roof top pool is perfect. Its of reasonable size and set within a decked area with lots of plants and greenery around. The roof top fitness is pretty well equipt with modern facilities.
I loved this hotel and would stay again and again. I would advise that if you do not require the kitchenette facility do not pay extra for the executive room as there really is no difference between the two.
