Get what you pay for.
I booked this reservation while sitting at the Stockholm Airport waiting for my flight to Istanbul so short notice to say the least. I contacted the hotel and they arranged for a driver to pick me up which was nice since it was late. I think they charged me $30 euros for the transportation which seemed pricey but the hotel is a fair way from the hotel and I didn't want to get lost on the train. Istanbul has more expensive fairs during night time hours. The Hotel is exactly what other reviewers on websites said. The rooms are small (very small). The bathroom was tiny, had mildew on the walls, and the shower leaked. But the staff were very very nice. Spoke English well. Made several attempts to ensure that everything was ok. It's a very short walk to all of the major tourist sites - Aya Sophia, the Grand Bazaar etc. They allowed me to leave my bags after checkout to allow me to sightsee (laptop included) with them and although I was leary about where they left them when I returned everything was in place and they greeted me as if I was still a guest. They called for a driver (which was significantly less expensive during daylight hours) which drove me to the airport. I'd stay there again. It's a perfect spot if your just stopping by. I wouldn't recommend it for any romance or families but if you're looking for a good price and a bed to lay your head on it's not a bad spot at all.
